Music_lover does anyone have a recommendation of an anime series similar to elfen lied?

Jacob So, Hyakuren no Haou to Seiyaku no Valkyria (don't know the English title so don't judge me), wtf was that anti-climatic ending of a season, if they drop season 2 sometime it better be interesting such as having 2 wives (the first being the person the main character loves and the second being the clan patriarch that proposed to said main character in episode 3), now that will make a lot of interesting plot twists

Jacob @Jordan Yup, I've only recently gotten into anime but I've seen a lot of good anime including older anime (one of them being Familar of Zero) and I've seen some good present anime (like how not to summon a demon lord)

Jacob @Jordan And in that example I basically said the Tom and Jerry was a visually appealing show as well as being an excellent silent comedy but lacks story and connection in it's episodes while Pokémon was the complete opposite of Tom and Jerry with the downside of the Porygon episode and some loose connections that happen later on in the series

Jordan @Jacob Oh yeah of course! Personally i've been thinking about our more adult cartoons like rick and morty or bojack horseman, plus other new stuff like gravity falls all together as one big quality push in the west. And then since anime has a much bigger pool of good and bad to pull from, interesting arguments could start to develop.

Jacob @Jordan But basically I was saying it would depend on which anime vs which western animation and used Pokémon vs Tom and Jerry as an example
